Why So Serious ?? - Murli's B'day blast !! :)

With bomb-blasts happening all around India and the country on high-alert , on the lighter side , there was a blast of a different kind yesterday !! Yup, it was my college bus-mate and close friend Murali's B'day blast !! Well , we 7 guys in our College bus - are pretty close and we make it a point to celebrate every birthday as enjoyably as possible !! But all these days , we were in college and so the birthdays were celebrated in the bus itself , simply by cutting a cake and then with song and dance ! :) This time it was different ! we are passed-outs now and so planned on something different ! So why not a surprise ??! :)

Since it was our first-ever surprise , we kept things plain and simple ! The usual - "Dont wish the guy - Make no plans - Upset the guy - But finally land up in his home" thing !!! :p And it worked out pretty well !! :) We , and also his school friends , were all in his house at 5.30 with a cake , on which was written - "Murali loves Puppy-ma" .. he he.. the nick-name of the gal , we tease him with ! He was really surprised - and even more surprised when he saw the cake ! :) And what not ? We even showed that to his Mom - who dint know what to say after seeing that ! he he.. Don know what happened after we left his home !! He he.. Sorry da ! We almost made your b'day a tragedy for u :p

And for the first time in our bus b'days history - we did continuous video coverage with my deranged 2 MP Nokia mobi cam :)

Coming now to the title of this post - "Why So serious" .. he he.. I cant explain - but you can find it out from the video below !! :p

PS : Look out for my dialogue "Mothala Amma - Puppy laan Summa" Hehehe :p Also the first revelation of my Half-grown hair look (after i shaved off my hair 2 months back:)




Next we took him to a textile shop nearby to buy him our gift - A shirt ! Take a look at what happened there ! :) Beware ! Murli is a body builder !! :p




Finally , we made a pit-stop at Sullan's house to Refill our fuel tanks with some "Pakkoda" and Orange juice , and finally left to our homes - after an enriching day and with the satisfaction of making a loved-one of us ecstatic and happy on HIS OWN day !! :)

Momma Dont Preach - Part 3

Hmmm , So after her Miraculous 2nd operation , Doctors had no other go but to remove her Uterus - which meant i wont have any siblings :( After all these , she again started goin for her job !! Well , the trouble started here ! A maid was put to look after me !! But this girl was A "Bi**ch" !! Think she was some kinda sadist !! I was just 5 or 6 then and this woman torchered me like anything ! I was not fed properly and not taken care of , plus got regular beatings in her hands ! I was sooo scared of her that i never told my mom or dad about it ! One fine day , My neighbour noticed what i was going through and complained to my mom !! Mom and dad fired her immediately ! Then they had a huge decision to take ! There were only 2 options - Either keep another maid in charge or my mom had to Resign her job ! Her salary was a plump one - afterall it was Central Govt ! Very few are lucky enough to get one !! But then she decided to choose the hard way !!

Many of her friends and family were against this decision - many asked her to leave me in a Boarding school ! But since i was to be her only child - she decided not to listen to others and so she Quit her job !! I should say - I had one of the best childhoods ever possible - although devoid of siblings !! Mom used to tell me stories each and everyday and till my 10th grade sat with me when i studied and taught me all that she could ! Although i grew up as some kind of a Nerdy Imbecile - i was proud of it !! :) I always stood First in my class and Topper at all levels !! I never needed a tutition or an extra coaching class ever in my life - thanks to her !!

Plus she always insisted that I was never-ever Idle - without doin something useful ! And this resulted in me goin for one class after another during my summer holidays !! I was able to finsh all my 8 exams in hindi due to her !! I started learning computers right from 5th grade !! Besides studies i also excelled in Scouting ! She also made me to excersie as i was a over-weight in those days !! But in the mean time - her health deteriorated as she started suffering from Hernia - thaks to "demons" from her previous two opearations ! So she had to go through 2 more Hernia opearations - one during my 5th grade and another during my 9th grade !! These made her terminally ill ! She cant sit on the ground even today !! :(

Surprise Surprise !!! This ones a special surprise testimonial for my friend Suresh Balaji Alias B**du Balaji whos celebrating his Birthday today !! :) Actually i had planned him a bigger surprise for today but it did nt work out since he had to go for work today !! :( Anyway , here it goes !! B**ds is one of my most close and best-est friends in my life !! Although we became classmates in the second sem only , we knew each other from 1st sem itself as we used to come across each other in our bus few days ! I never knew his love he had for me , untill the third semester , when something terrible happened to me and he was one of the very few human beings who stood by my side and fought for me !! Thanks for that da !! After that , my repect and likingness for him grew very much !! Yet another incident was in a bus journey one day when i told him sadly , Unlike the other guys in our class , I dont have any one single person to tell as my BEST Friend !! For that he replied - Am also in the same position only da !! Don worry,  i ll always be there for you !!! I wont forget that forever !! :) Like these , there are so many incidences !! I always thought that he was such a coward and Good for nothing fellow !! he he .. but he proved me wrong when he bravely fought the presidential elections in our dept(when everyone of us backed down)  - just to show his support for his friends !! Momma Dont Preach !! - Part 2

Well , Im surely one heck of a procrastinator !! This is one proof for it !! Seems i ve posted "Momma Dont Preach - Part 1" on December 7 , 2007 !! LOL.. Its almost one year over and am back to finish this unfinished business !! Who knows , what am gonna write here now may be very much different if i have written the same thing in December !

Ok Now coming to it , My mom played,plays and will play a significant role in my life !!These are excerpts from her life and her relationship with me ! Read at your own risk :) Because it may get borin for u soon , but i ll try to make it as interesting and succint as possible ! So lemme start !! Mom was born in a lower middle class family with about 5 siblings .Her father - my granddad was a honest government officer- and so , you can imagine the situation she grew up in ! Sure it was nt a fairy-tale childhood for her ! She was a brilliant student - always stood first in her class- and a gold medalist in her college ! First she worked as a teacher in a lindergarten school and then got a good central govt job with a high salary after few yrs ! But then , family pressures made her to marry very late at the age of 30 !!

After marriage , seems there were lotsa problems at her in-laws place(My dad's place) because of her job !! So dad and mom moved over to a seperate home (in which we are still) !! And when i was born , she faced her first of FOUR Operations ! This one was Caesarian and in few months she was back to work ! I was at home with a maid to look after !

And then came the Miracle !! It was 7 months into my Mom's second pregnancy ! One day at her office , she suddenly got an excruciating pain and she passed off and was immediately rushed to the hospital ! There her blood pressure and pulse went down drastically and doctors told my dad and relatives that she has a very little chance of gettin through it ! My dad was asked to sign a form telling that the hospital had no role to play if she dies during the operation ! So then it was her second Operation and yup - it was a baby boy - who saw dakness even before daylight could flash on him ! The baby was dead and after the opeartion got over doctors felt it would be the same story with my mom !

Final hours.. Moms BP and pulse never seemed to improve ! Doctors gave a 24 hour deadline.. And then it happened.. From no where , at the deep end of the 24 hour deadline , her BP and pulse seemed to slowly rise up and in few minutes it was up and running !! :) Everyone who witnessed it said it was God's miracle !! Even today , when my mom goes back to that hospital , they call her the Miracle Lady !! :)
